Laura Edelman

Laura Edelman, Lic. Ac., MAOM, MPH, is nationally board-certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate in Acupuncture, and is a Licensed Acupuncturist by the Board of Registration in Medicine in Massachusetts. She graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture (now part of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences) in 2001 with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

During the intensive 3 ½ year program at NESA, Laura studied Traditional Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture, as well as Chinese Herbal Medicine, Qi Gong and nutrition. Laura is NADA* certified and over the last twenty years has furthered her training with continuing education in acupuncture for infertility, musculoskeletal pain, thyroid imbalances, pediatrics and more. Laura also continues to practice Qi Gong on a daily basis and is a certified adult and children’s yoga teacher.  

Laura also holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan (1996), where she focused her studies on maternal and child health and public health education. In addition, she has taught health education in elementary and middle school.
